SuperNoteBook
Stop Living in Ten Apps.
Encrypted on Your Own Computer

Your Records. Nothing on Our Servers to Breach.

SuperNoteBook is a private notebook for your whole office. Every page, table, photo and file is encrypted on your own computer, in a folder you choose. There's no account to create and no server holding your data — we never see it, and we never have your password.

Your Computer and Your Phone

One Notebook, Wherever You Are

Keep SuperNoteBook on a NAS in your office and it opens on your computer and your Android phone, at the desk or on the road. It's the same notebook on both, kept in step, and it installs on your phone's home screen with one tap.

⌂

Your Own NAS

The notebook lives on a storage box in your office. Every file is encrypted on your device before it's saved there.

◎

Private Access

Your devices reach it through Tailscale, a private network only your signed-in devices can use. Nothing is opened to the public internet.

✓

No Overwrites

If your other device saved something first, SuperNoteBook tells you to reload instead of overwriting the newer change.

We set up the NAS and the private access for your office as a service.

What's Inside

🎙

Type It or Say It

Dictate with spoken punctuation, record voice notes, and give voice commands — for those moments when your hands are busy.

▦

Smart Tables

Task lists, complaint logs, staff hours, invoices, and spreadsheets with formulas — built right into your pages.

✓

Checks

Catches the human errors: statements that don't match payments, hand-typed hours, and Social Security or card numbers typed into notes.

A How-To Guide, the SuperNoteBook Way

The page is the job. Each bottom tab is one task. Every step says what to type, where to type it, and why. Tap the tabs below to follow a real example.

Book: Python  ›  Chapter: Getting Started  ›  Page: Run My First Python Script on Windows

Check for Python

Tool: PowerShell
python --version
Why: asks Windows whether Python is installed and which version. A version number means you can skip to “Make a Folder.”
Done when: you see a version number, or a message that Python wasn't found.

Install Python

Tool: PowerShell
winget install Python.Python.3.12
Why: winget is the app installer built into Windows. This pulls the official Python 3.12 package, so there's no website to hunt through.
Close PowerShell and open it again. Why: a new window is what picks up the newly installed program.
Done when: python --version shows 3.12.

Make a Folder

Tool: PowerShell
mkdir $HOME\\python-lab cd $HOME\\python-lab
Why: mkdir makes a folder, and $HOME means your own user folder. cd moves you into it, so everything for this project stays in one place.
Done when: your prompt ends in python-lab.

Create a Virtual Environment

Tool: PowerShell
Set-ExecutionPolicy -Scope CurrentUser RemoteSigned
Why: Windows blocks scripts by default. RemoteSigned lets scripts made on your own PC run, and -Scope CurrentUser changes it for your account only. Type Y if asked. You only do this once.
python -m venv .venv .\\.venv\\Scripts\\Activate.ps1
Why: venv gives this project its own private copy of Python, so packages you add here can't break other projects. Activate switches this window over to it.
Done when: (.venv) appears at the start of your prompt.

Write and Run the Script

Tool: PowerShell
Set-Content hello.py "print('Hello from SuperNoteBook')" python hello.py
Why: Set-Content writes one line of Python into a new file named hello.py. python hello.py runs it.
Done when: you see “Hello from SuperNoteBook.”
